Refund policy
Your satisfaction matters. We strive to get the best possible results from your tapes and films.
We hold your media for 30 days after we complete digitization (or until we ship originals back, if you requested return). During that window, if any files do not play properly, contact us. We will check the originals and, if needed, redo what is necessary at no extra charge for a clear quality issue on our side.
By default we recycle tapes and film after successful digitization unless you request return on your order form. If you choose return, originals are typically shipped after the 30-day hold, so we still have the source media if we need to revisit anything related to your digital files. Return postage is charged at cost and confirmed before we ship originals back.
Digital access includes a private streaming link and full-resolution downloads. Optional USB delivery is available for the fee stated on the order form.
PAL tapes: A PAL surcharge may apply. Often this is only known once we play the tape. If you marked format as Not sure, we will test the tape and include any PAL surcharge on the adjusted invoice before final delivery.
Unplayable or non-family content: If a tape cannot be played and/or is not family content, we refund the original amount charged for that item, minus a handling fee.
Because digitizing is custom work on unique media, other refunds for completed jobs are not typical. If something went wrong, contact us at info@videosparkles.com or 1-833-699-TAPE and we will work with you to make it right.
